The Straight Razor Shave

• The straight razor shave starts with the application of pre-shave oils, designed to soften and lubricate the skin.
• After a preliminary layer of hot lather, Nick will then apply the first of many hot towels, leaving it on for several minutes while you drift away.
• After the towel is removed, a fresh layer of hot lather is applied and the shave begins. Nick uses the sharpest of straight razors, gently drawn against the skin to provide the closest possible shave.
• After the shave is complete, a towel is placed on the face and cooling witch hazel is applied, followed immediately by the application of two more hot towels. This treatment soothes, softens, smoothes and refreshes the skin.
